  • How much does a visit cost?
A single virtual visit is $75 and a Denver area house call is $150. If you would like text support and included visits, check out my support packages, and for more info including service area, please visit my services page!
  • How do I make an appointment?
Easy! You can go to my scheduling page (https://inspirepediatrics.janeapp.com), send a text (720)807-2011 or send an email! Text or self scheduling is fastest!
  • Are you available on evenings and weekends?
Sometimes! I teach classes on weekends and have family obligations, so I don't include these times on my self scheduling page at the moment, but if you need a visit, send me a text and I'll see when we can get you in! If I'm not out of town I can often make a weekend or evening visit work.
  • What kind of conditions can you treat during a house call?
Lots! Some examples: Ear checks Breathing checks Cough and congestion Asthma Hand, foot and mouth Stomach bug/vomiting Rashes Fevers Includes any medications administered or lab tests performed. I bring medication for vomiting, asthma, and croup with me, as well as rapid tests. Rapid tests available: Strep, COVID, Flu, Urine Not sure if I can handle your problem? Just text (720)807-2011 and I can answer that for you!
  • Are Inspire Pediatrics a 24/7 service?
I'm a solo provider with a toddler, so unfortunately no. But I do generally commit to being available 8am-8pm within a few hours most days unless I let you know ahead of time (usually faster during the day). Weekends might have a slightly longer response time than weekdays. If the response time will be slower than usual, I will set an auto response on my texting service to let you know what to expect. You can always feel free to send a text whenever (even overnight) and I will get to it as soon as I can!
  • Do subscriptions auto renew?
Support packages (with the exception of newborn packages) auto renew unless you tell me you'd like to cancel (you can cancel any time without any hard feelings!) I know family needs change, but I also don't want you to have to worry about renewing each time a subscription is up. You will get a notification when the subscription is about to renew.
  • What is included in a support package?
1 in-home visit for 6 month packages, and 2 in-home visits for 12 month if you need it! A telemedicine kit (camera to look for ear infections, pulse ox to check oxygen levels, etc) Access to my content library (which includes all of my guides, pre-recorded classes, and more) Text support Unlimited virtual visits Proactive support and a subscriber only newsletter Consultations on sleep, starting solids, or any other developmental questions you have
  • Do you accept insurance?
You can use an HSA or FSA for my services, and you are welcome to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Unfortunately insurance is very limiting, and I would rather spend my time helping you than on paperwork to insurance companies. Cash pay models can actually save you a lot of time and money (check out my reviews, that's what I do)!
  • I'm interested in a private CPR class, how can I book?
Just send an email to laura@inspirepediatrics.com with location, number of people, and any questions and we'll get your class on the calendar!
  • Can you be my child's primary care provider?
I do a lot for my clients, but my services do not replace your normal pediatrician. Those in-person well visits, vaccines, as well as in-office resources are still an important connection for your family!
  • Can you take care of my child emergently?
No! - I am sometimes in an appointment or teaching a class, so if it's truly emergent, please call 911 or head to the closest ED.
  • Can your services replace my pediatrician?
I like to think of myself as a supplement to your pediatrician. I'm happy to loop them in according to your preferences, but I take care of a lot of the in-between to make care more convenient and holistic for you and your family. Your pediatrician does a very important job, but they don't always have the time or scheduling space for all of the things I help my clients with!
  • What kind of issues can you help with?
I loooove looking into all of the things that are important to YOU! So whether that's travel plans, development questions, gear recommendations, typical milestones like starting solids, sleep questions or (most common) random illnesses, I've got you covered. I'm also happy to do some research for you with questions that are a little off the normal path. I'm developing some integrative and holistic treatment plans for common kid problems as well, so I can't wait to share that if that's an area you'd like to explore!
